A2.1: German for teenagers. German as a foreign language / course book

Target level A2.1 target group youth German learners (11-15 years) at home and abroad. Consists of two half bands per level. – The course book is divided into 4 modules (“subject circles”) with 3 short, varied lessons each. – The module entry forms an image text page with an entry task and the announcement of all module topics and learning goals. – Each module develops a humorous protagonist story that offers youth diverse identification possibilities. – At the end of each module recurring sections such as country science, project work, language information, tasks on the films as well as a module summary with examples – magazine pages with game ideas, national information on festivals and celebrations as well as tasks on Films from the media package at the end of the course book – many listening texts as impulse, for reading along and for control – integrated pronunciation exercises – many exercises with the possibility of self-control – extra column for systematisation and repetition of the learned – transparent, clear layout with many photos. and Illustros and os and as well as modern types of text (e.g. chat) – mutual reference system between course and workbook. With the app, all audio and movies can be easily retrieved on tablet PC or smartphone
