Beschrijving

Born in Germany, she started her career as a hairstylist and makeup artist before discovering the world of analog photography in 2016. From the beginning, her main topic was clear: beautiful women. With passion and a love for travel, she found women from all over the world who were willing to show themselves in front of her camera. What started as a hobby slowly developed into a bigger vision. Today, Sarah focuses mainly on her project “sarahlikesprettygirls”. In addition to her publications on social media, with a wide reach and awareness, she now also collaborates with galleries and other artists around the world. For her second photo book, she chose Mexico City as the setting. The city fascinated her with its colors, its energy and its history and architecture. There she met and took portraits of numerous women – locals and travelers alike. Each photograph was captured on 35mm film, creating an “analog imperfection” that, in addition to its natural aesthetic, creates a special closeness to the women photographed. In a world of nude photography dominated by men, Sarah Zak’s work breaks down stereotypes and creates a space for a unique beauty and power in women. Immerse yourself in this special collaboration and experience the sensual and inspiring world of female nude photography
